Customer Communications Executive - Zurich Insurance, UK

The Opportunity

The right person for this role will have a demonstrated track record of creating direct to customer communications in a regulated environment. They will be thought leaders, change catalysts and expert in regulatory, legislative and industry regulations able to provide a customer considered view of the end communication to dramatically improve how we communicate with customers. You will work as part of multidisciplinary and collaborative teams to deliver innovative communications solutions to enhance our customers’ experience. You’ll be adept at interpreting regulations in an engaging and new ways and be prepared to challenge to ensure a superior customer communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understanding your customer’s needs and bringing innovative regulatory communications to life for our customers
  • Work with propositions, financial promotions, agencies, business change, legal and compliance teams to promote best practice in regulatory communications – introducing innovative communication and solution techniques
  • Measuring the success/effectiveness of communications through research and insight
  • Delivering communications that are customer engaging whilst meeting business, regulatory, and legal/compliance standards and requirements
  • Designing and implementing robust processes and supporting controls
  • Considering and adopting the optimum approach to effective delivery through personal actions
  • Understanding and interpreting papers from our Regulators – the FCA and PRA
  • Influencing and communicating the impact of impending and future regulatory changes on communications identifying opportunities to enhance literature outputs and customer experience
  • Understanding brand requirements and ensuring activity is executed within brand guidelines
  • Imagining the new as well as rapidly evolving something that already exists
  • Presenting and sharing ideas expertly with stakeholders at all levels – leading the conversations
Your skills and experience

  • Have worked in a similar role in another large corporate
  • Have experience of embracing wide ranging change in challenging environments
  • Be able to cope with change in a fast moving environment with varying workloads and pressures
  • Have excellent communication and influencing skills – written and verbal
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Collaboration and facilitation skills – ability to bring the right people together Have a degree or higher qualifications and 3+ years of experience.
