PR and Communications Intern - Intel, UK

Job Description:

Our PR and Communications position is an amazing opportunity for an entrepreneurial thinker and self-starter to grow in an industrial placement. Working in a global environment with teams around the world, you will be a key member of the global communications group driving Intel's positioning, thought leadership, messaging and narrative through story-telling and story-selling with key influencers.

As part of the role, you will have the opportunity to get involved in events (for example IFA, Mobile World Congress, IEM and CES) and product launches for media, news and public relations throughout EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa). This will include managing logistics and coordinating hardware requirements for them. Furthermore, you will be required to gather coverage both online using Intel's internal data analysis tools and through communication with colleagues around the world; in order to build coverage reports to be sent to senior Intel leadership.

This position enables you to link to multiple stakeholders throughout Intel's organisation such as the Digital Marketing Team along with the Marketing Team; to support the Communications department's activities. Day to day roles include handling the logistics for device sampling programmes, building internal communications such as our bi-weekly newsletter, working with external agencies to build weekly reports on EMEA's current PR communications and proof- reading documents that will be released to the public.

We are looking for an articulate, creative, motivated individual with a passion for communications and great attention to detail.

At the end of your internship you will have gained valuable skills and experience working for a dynamic innovative technology leader!

Qualifications

For the role, we are looking for someone with common sense, the ability to work in a fast-changing environment, resilience, the ability to multitask, excellent time-management, enthusiasm and ability to communicate clearly. Along with this, the candidate should ideally have excellent spelling and grammar abilities.

This is a 13-month fixed-term placement suitable for students currently studying a degree course in Marketing, PR and Communications and Journalism or similar subjects, and is targeted at 2nd year students enrolled in a 4 years bachelor's degree which includes a year in industry.
