Sales Operations Analyst, Google Nest

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in business analysis, demand forecasting or product demand/supply planning
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in forecasting, demand planning or analytics.
  • Experience forecasting in tools such as Anaplan, or building analyses and data visualisations in Tableau or SQL.
  • Project management, business process re-engineering and change management experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing environment with an entrepreneurial approach.
About the job

The Devices & Services Business Organisation manages relationships with retailers and carriers globally. We are responsible for defining the consumer go-to-market strategy to maximise the adoption of Google’s devices and services solutions.

As the Sales Operations Analyst for Nest, you will work with the partnerships team to forecast performance, analyse sales and market trends, as well as compile performance insights to present to the cross-functional team.

We build and distribute products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Ads, Search & Assistant, Geo, Platforms & Ecosystems, Devices & Services, Health, Retail, Payments, Next Billion Users, and more. We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.

Responsibilities
  • Build weekly, quarterly and annual demand forecasts, incorporating promotional plans, pipeline and seasonality assumptions and maintaining forecast assumptions in the demand planning tool.
  • Analyse performance vs the demand forecast, understand the root causes for over or under performance and write clear and concise performance commentary.
  • Assess risks and contingencies and work to build plans to mitigate risks and drive performance.
  • Visualise performance and changing market trends for presenting to internal management and global counterparts.
  • Coaching, mentoring and supporting the development of other members of the team.
