Business Development Specialist - Philips

Job Description:

In this role, you have the opportunity to be primary responsibility for proactively owning and supporting the Philips Masimo Alliance program in the MET market with specific focus on Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey and Qatar, ensuring the delivery of Masimo socket targets.

You are responsible for:
  • Achieving the annual socket target agreed between MASIMO and PHILIPS for MET.
  • Working with MASIMO and PHILIPS MET teams to deploy marketing strategy according to the four marketing pillars of the Joint Marketing Plan (JMP).
  • Working with business development, identify, create and launch programs to drive Masimo SET and Masimo rainbow SET technology adoption in MET, including programs for:
    • End users activates and promotion
    • Masimo (lead generation)
    • Philips Lead generation and Installed base targeting plans
  • Working closely with appropriate business lines and account managers colleagues to support the marketing activities, to grow the funnel of Masimo enabled Philips products across Connected Care such as:
    • Value segment monitors (SureSigns, Efficia)
    • Acute care monitors (IntelliVue)
    • Sleep and Respiratory Care solutions (EVO)
    • Therapeutic Care solutions (Intrepid, RDT)
  • Identifying Philips Masimo informational and training needs for the field teams, and develop a plan to fulfil those needs. Leverage existing trainings, e-learnings and presentation.
  • Works collaboratively with Masimo counterparts (in MET market) as well as with key linkages across Businesses, Markets and supporting Functions within Philips to ensure that systems and processes are in place to deliver on commitments in the Masimo Agreements. Leverages expertise of the boarder Masimo Alliance Program Team.
  • Provides deal support and strategy, including customer presentations and product demonstrations at bedside and collaborate between the right resources to close the deal.
  • Planning and organise workshops in the scope of sales and clinical marketing to promote MASIMO and PHILIPS technology and advanced features.
  • Serves as the 1st level escalation point for the market when channel questions, issues and conflicts arise between Philips and Masimo.
  • Creating, maintaining and growing a business funnel for Philips-Masimo opportunities in the region on SFDC.

You will be reporting to the META Business Marketing Manager and be part of the Connected Care team.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Clinical background (nursing/ biomedical engineering) or from the medical industry in Critical Care ideally, with a collaborative clinical mindset and approach (is a must have).
  • Minimum 5 years + experience in Business Development with solid track record
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (a must have)
