F&B Retail Development Coordinator - CHANEL - Dubai

Position Purpose:

In line with the development of the Fragrances & Beauty Retail network in the Middle East & India, we are looking for a Retail Development coordinator (VIE) to join the Dubai office Retail Team.

The role is to provide sales, administrative and coordination support to the Retail Manager. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments in the office and the boutiques teams. You may be required to travel and will have to visit regularly the boutiques.

Your main responsibilities are:

Assist in coordinating with relevant departments the future F&B boutique openings & renovations:

  • Work closely with Architecture, IT, Finance, Supply chain, PR & Media, Marketing, HR, VM & Training Teams to ensure smooth opening process and follow up with the concerned stake holders in Dubai, the local partner and Paris.
  • Update the opening check-list on a regular basis and support in the implementation of process and procedures
  • Monitor and follow-up on expenses related to the projects while administering and tracking all budgets within your area.

Contribute to the Retail sales development and drive analysis to support the business:

  • Report weekly and monthly sales results, drive and compile sales analysis
  • Participate in the budget preparation
  • Participate in defining retail incentives and team challenges throughout the year
  • Coordinate with the Products Analyst the F&B products forecasts definition at boutique level, accompany Boutique managers in the other forecasts categories (Eye wear and small leather goods)
  • Drive stock / launch analysis and define action plan to boost categories with the Retail manager and boutique managers

Support on animating the Retail community & ensure Retail excellence at all levels

  • Visit regularly the boutiques and build strong relationship with the boutique managers and boutique teams
  • Contribute to the organisation of team buildings, team meetings
  • Be responsible for the forecasts and ordering process of uniforms, consumables, editions
  • Identify areas of strength and weakness within the boutiques and deliver consistent feedback on the process improvement
Profile:
  • You have a master degree (business school, university …) and have a first experience in a similar role.
  • You are a very committed person with strong organisational and interpersonal skills with a “can do” mindset which will allow you to build strong relationship with the different teams involved.
  • You have good analytical skills.
  • You are pro-active, dynamic with a capacity to adapt to a fast moving environment.
  • English is a must, Arabic and/or French would be an advantage.
