Performance Marketing Manager - Walt Disney Company, MENA

Job summary:

An exciting opportunity has come up in the Disney + team as a Performance Marketing Manager. The Disney+ team is responsible for the launch and day to day operation of Disney+ across Europe and Africa, specifically focused on customer acquisition and retention, marketing, partnerships and synergy, content programming, research and analytics.

This role sits within the team spearheading the MENA roll out of Disney’s new streaming platform, Disney+. Working alongside data and marketing teams, this role focuses on implementing and optimising the performance marketing across the region.

The Disney+ team is responsible for the launch and day to day operation of Disney+ across Europe and Africa, specifically focused on customer acquisition and retention, marketing, partnerships and synergy, content programming, research and analytics.

This role sits within the team spearheading the MENA roll out of Disney’s new streaming platform, Disney+. Working alongside data and marketing teams, this role focuses on implementing and optimising the performance marketing across the region.

Responsibilities:
  • Closely work with the Disney+ leaders in MENA and the global and EMEA performance marketing team to build, evolve and execute the performance marketing function to definitively and measurably grow Disney+ in MENA.
  • Work with the regional and the global teams to define performance marketing campaigns and budget allocation across different channels including search, display, social, mobile, affiliation, video and all the addressable media.
  • Analysis of the campaign KPIs and own all acquisition performance metrics.
  • Constant campaign optimisation and re-planning collaboratively with the respective teams at the local and regional level.
  • Work with the analytics and customer management team to ensure all plans are data and insight driven.
  • Explore specific local market opportunities to further grow the subscriber base.
  • Work with MENA D+ partnerships team on optimising current partners deals whilst examining the market to understand conversion standards to increase performance.
  • Collaborate with local creative team for performance marketing specific assets that are fully aligned with the brand guidelines.
  • Work with owned media, Partnerships & Brand marketing to integrate acquisition/performance plans to maximise growth opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Campaign management
  • Demonstrated experience building and executing world-class Performance marketing campaigns across multiple territories with multimillion dollar budgets
  • Experience in launching consumer-focused subscription-based services, including exposure across campaign strategy, acquisition workflow, copy, paid campaign set-up & management and creative production
  • Deep and cutting-edge experience across all performance marketing/acquisition channels; Search, Social Display, CTV advertising and affiliates
  • Experience in working as part of an closely integrated marketing & planning structure (Brand, Customer Marketing, Product, Trading)
  • Significant professional experience managing paid acquisition channels across various markets
  • Experience working with key campaign management tools and platforms (e.g. Facebook Ads Manager, SA360, DV360)
  • Understanding of martech including DMPs and using Multi touch attribution models
  • Strong analytics skills with experience working with PowerBI
  • Have a background in data visualisation, dashboard development and stakeholder communication
