London Destination Manager, AMEX Travel & Lifestyle Services - Japanese

Job Description:

The London Destination Manager is responsible for elevating Centurion Membership and deepening Membership engagement, globally, by creating unique experiences backed by their local, premium expertise. The London Destination Manager will report into the Global Centurion Experience Manager and will support our Membership Executives and Relationship Managers with driving the health of their portfolio for CMs travelling to their host city.

The London Destination Manager will be a local specialist in all aspects of luxury lifestyle including dining, retail, arts and entertainment and bespoke tours. The perfect candidate for the role is a trend-setter with strong professional relationships in the luxury and hospitality space. They’re excited to leverage these relationships to elevate the Centurion Membership experience and partner closely with Membership Executives and Relationship Managers to deliver on the Centurion Membership promise.

The London Destination Manager will be a key player in supporting enterprise goals through the lens of Customers, Shareholders and Colleagues through the following responsibilities:

  • Provides tailored, consultative servicing to Centurion Members by way of their Membership Executive/Relationship Manager
  • Partners with servicing teams to drive and scale engagement opportunities
  • Creates elevated, differentiated local experiences that only Membership can unlock
  • Develops and manages relationships with local luxury suppliers to enable the Centurion value proposition
  • Delivers unparalleled premium local level expertise to servicing colleagues globally
  • Stays ahead of the curve for our Centurion Members by targeting the latest trends in London including new restaurant openings, theatre, shopping, and museums
  • Leverage internal and external network to drive business goals
  • Collaborates with internal strategic teams to enable value-add to CM experiences and our colleagues
  • Consistently demonstrates thought-leadership and actively collaborates with global team

Considered candidates must have the following qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and passion of the city of London (Art, Music, Sports, Dining, Events, Theatre, Fashion, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written business communication
  • Proven interpersonal and client consultation skills
  • Creative, with the ability to combine best practices with new ideas to create compelling experiences for customers to deepen their engagement
  • Comfortable working with global teams bringing collaboration and inclusivity to the forefront
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a global team of highly motivated individuals
  • Must be comfortable servicing in an in-person environment when required
  • Can build strong relationships with internal and external partners that drives memorable experiences for our Card Members
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
  • Comfortable working as part of an evolving team and embraces change

Preferred Additional:

  • Fluency in another language is appreciated (Japanese language)
  • Experience in Operations & Customer Servicing with an expert understanding of the luxury space
