HR Advisor - Odfjell Drilling, Dubai

Role description:

Duties to unclude:

  • Manage the preparation of all staff payroll and timely disbursement of salaries
  • Provide advice to staff and managers in relation to salary, insurance, and other related HR queries
  • Draft employment certificates, contracts, and contract addendums
  • Conduct HR induction for newly hired employees
  • Prepare monthly HR reports as required by the HR Manager
  • Conduct preliminary screening of applicants for open positions
  • Keep all employee files and data systematically and update the information as necessary
  • Responsible for registrations, terminations, and changes related to employee information in the ERP system
  • Administer benefits programs such as medical and life insurance enrolment
  • Process JAFZA visas and other employee transactions in the JAFZA portal
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of engagement initiatives
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Preferably certified in CIPD Level 5, CHRP or SHRM
  • Minimum 5 years progressive experience in the Human Resources function
  • Professional experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
  • Proven ability to plan long-term, organise priorities and work under administrative and programmatic pressures with detail orientation and professional grace
  • Diplomatic and strong acumen in establishing positive working relationships with employees and all other stakeholders to maximize cooperation and productivity
  • Very strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
  • Strong organisational, project management, and administrative skills required
  • Proven sense of professional discretion, integrity, and ability to manage situations diplomatically and to effective resolution
  • Written and spoken fluency in English is required
