Middle-East SP&O Manager - Apple, Dubai

The Middle-East SP&O Manager is responsible for driving Apple established processes and execution of best-in-class integrated Apple customer experience across UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq.

The role covers execution of programs and demand generation on behalf of Apple in 3 route to markets, retail, Telco and Apple Premium Resellers; and support B2B teams. The role also oversights the demand generation, merchandising program and sales training operations across the region, partnering closely with the central teams, country leads and regional partners to develop program footprint and sales advocacy leveraging the Apple playbook and beyond. This role will have a one-to-many relationship, with the channel partners, and key internal stakeholders both at local and European levels. Applicants must have a strategic mind-set, with several years’ experience working in a trade-marketing environment.

This position is a 6 month maternity cover. Dubai, London based preferred but remote working will be considered.

Key Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in implementation, execution, and management of Trade / channel marketing / Sales Training for retail and/or telco with a strong brand
  • Strong operational and strategic experience developed with teams locally, and remotely bases.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with emphasis on building leading-edge team that is inclusive and strive to achieve and exceed performance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in working with channel partners
  • Work to deadlines and under pressure with ability to focus on multiple projects simultaneously

Description
  • Leadership: Partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class integrated customer experience within the region. Be an influencer and challenger supporting the ME sales team in achieving and exceeding both functional and organisational goals.
  • You will be responsible for applying Apple’s demand generation guidelines and the execution of its sales training and programs initiatives in Apple Premium reseller, Telco, Retail, and B2B channels:
  • Driving channel performance via best-in-class marketing campaigns including events, awareness activities, traffic generation and new store openings.
  • Plan, execute and measure scalable marketing programs aligned with brand guidelines, maximising product presence and driving cost; Apple Premium Reseller Program Execution: coverage planning, POS selection, and execution of new POS openings for Apple Premium Reseller program, responsible for quality controls – store audit and mystery shopping for the channel and cooperation in deploying quarterly demand generation plans;.
  • Retail programs Execution: driving world-class merchandising deployment in consumer electronic retail, manage POS performance, execution of demand generation in close cooperation with the retail partners.
  • Telco programs Execution: driving world-class merchandising deployment in Telco Channel, manage POS performance, execution of demand generation in close cooperation with Carriers;.
  • Measure and Evaluate Activities: Manage associated budget limitations, maximising cost efficiencies, post-activity evaluation to measure ROI and drive future programs.
  • Events and Product Launch Execution: Deliver best-in-class new product launches, maximise impact of events and new product launches within Reseller communities, and capitalising third party opportunities.
  • Responsible for keeping process and execution guidelines of Apple: Work with internal sales teams, Marcom, PR and Sales Planning and Support ensuring all activities align with brand guidelines, maximise product presence; and processes support Program expansion plan.
  • Channel sales training oversight on behalf of Apple: Assess quarterly training needs across sales programs and plan the sales training and advocacy activities aligned with the requirements of channel partners.
  • Close collaboration with Sales Training Manager in organisation and execution of the sales trainings. Monitoring of the sales training compliance of channel partners.
