E-commerce Program Manager - DHL - Dubai

ABOUT THE ROLE

The job holder is responsible for managing service delivery, support business development and implementation of solutions for existing eCommerce customers as well as business acquisition within this vertical. The post holder will be the matter expert in the field of eCommerce operations, customs, IT systems, fulfilment and overall understanding of eCommerce supply chain models end to end.

They are responsible to create value to our customers and sales community by having a detailed understanding of the organisation’s operational capabilities. Additionally, you are responsible for business transformation, driving innovation, development and deployment of eCommerce solutions to build great customer experiences & excellence with an agile, analytical and entrepreneurial approach.

YOUR TASKS
  • Driving Business growth by developing & implementing solutions, tools for external & internal stakeholders
  • Investigate, design, develop & cost customer-driven solutions to support business opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders on creating growth & value for customers (external) & business (internal) units
  • Lead the operational and technical solution design and implementation of specific customer solutions to enable right onboarding, growth & long-term partnership engagement creating lifetime customer value
  • Working on best in class operations, solutions, partnerships & be the primary point of contact between the cross functional teams (Sales, CS, Operations, ELC) within the country, regional & global functions.
  • Manage service quality by performance monitoring & process
  • improvements in collaboration with the functional teams across business units
  • Structurally engage with internal stakeholders across Business Units with activities like performance dialogues, process improvements & operational gaps to ensure program relevance and longer-term impact
  • Create great customer experiences through a data driven, scientific approach to eCommerce products & services
  • Create business intelligence and insights across sales & operations by proactive performance monitoring, data automation & customised reporting dashboards
  • Work with data automation & business intelligence tools to create service excellence, reduce waste & increase the profitability of eCommerce operations
  • Develop & align KPIs based on business targets, operational & sales data to measure, monitor & achieve growth efficiencies of eCommerce business
  • Develop a diverse network of partnerships ranging from Warehouse Fulfilment, Cross-Border Logistics, eCommerce solution providers. Engage with network partners & enable sustainable growth of new & existing customers
  • Driving innovation through customer interactions, developing content, virtual engagements like webinars, expert sessions & conferences
  • Work with Marketing teams to enable the growth & exposure of eCommerce business through Content, Digital Engagement & Branding activities
  • Engage with procurement team to find, evaluate & select suppliers/vendors, who can become business partners & create long term value to the eCommerce service offerings.
  • Engage with procurement & legal teams on the contractual process & reviews of the business contracts & agreements
  • Collaborate with partners to create engagement in the market & provide services with the highest service quality excellence that meets our standards & policies
  • Manage suppliers & partners with business standards & performance measure on a timely basis to evaluate their service offerings & service standards
YOUR PROFILE
  • Strong knowledge of eCommerce supply chain & the rules that could affect the operations of eCommerce B2C companies & their logistics.
  • Ability to assess business cases and processes with a talent for identifying innovation opportunities
  • Experience working with data analytics & automation
  • Ability to review legal supplier agreements & partner agreements
  • Project Management skills are required
  • Insight in Innovation methodologies is a plus (six Sigma, Agile, Design Thinking, Global Innovation Management Methodology)
  • Strong working knowledge of all MS products
  • Prior experience in customer engagement & management
  • Comfortable with continuous engagement with C-level and senior leadership
