Senior Distributor Management Executive - Roche, Dubai

Job Summary:

The Distribution management department is responsible for maintaining the contacts with our key partners (distributors, agents and Roche internal stakeholders) in Middle East. The key roles are to support the department in maintaining an appropriate overview of the performance of each of the partners, negotiating contract terms and conditions, assessment of new and existing partners, monitoring their performance based on commonly agreed KPIs and improvement plans. It is expected that the Distributor Business Account Manager is working closely with Country Heads, Finance, Legal and Compliance functions, following the RACI model.

Your Responsibilities
  • Prepare and perform Performance review with the distributors (first develop performance management system for agency and distributor countries)
  • Prepare and participate at least once per year in performance reviews with distributors when performance based n KPIs is discussed and evaluated
  • Support Head of Gulf, Levant, Agencies & Distribution with all operational matters and key issues
  • Represent Distributor Management department with the various functions internal meetings and projects
  • Be the next level of escalation for issues between countries and distributors, as presented in Distributor Management RACI matrix
  • Lead and prepare meetings as needed
  • Coordinate with the various functions and regional management the various requests and issues related to their countries/markets
  • Provide the required reports and updates t Head f Gulf, Levant, Agencies & Distribution as and when needed
  • Work n Department projects if and when required
  • Analyse and negotiate contractual issues for each country of responsibility in collaboration with Legal and Compliance departments
  • Investigate and proactively identify potential business risks for each country of responsibility
  • Monitor, analyse and improve Supply chain performance in cooperation with distributor and supply chain department
  • Continuously optimise distributor’s performance in countries of responsibility
Compliance

Who You Are
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any equivalent degree
  • You have a minimum of 5 years track record in a similar Distributor Management role, and managerial position in the same field
  • Strong negotiation skills, ability to explain the benefits, persuade, and convince senior level stakeholders both internally and externally
  • You have experience working in a matrix environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • You are fluent in Fluent in English communication both verbal and written. Arabic is considered a plus, or any spoken language in the market
