SCM Customer Experience Partner - Maersk, Dubai

Key responsibilities
  • Manage customer end to end Supply Chain operations starting from Purchase Order (PO), documentation, Cargo at origin, cargo in transit and arrival at destination in compliance with relevant company procedures (SOP) and agreements with customer.
  • Own all customer issues and facilitates their timely and effective resolution by engaging relevant internal stakeholders
  • Manage the documentation, system updates and operational finance timely
  • Build customer relationships and be curious about customer business needs and drivers in order to better serve them and identify new business opportunities
  • Documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for new process and agreement
  • Educating multiple stakeholders how to comply with SOP and monitoring overall operational adherence to the SOP
  • Timely and accurate data/report management
  • Ensure KPIs are achieved against target
  • Maintain and improve customer satisfaction levels
  • Support the digitisation agenda by positively influencing customers’ uptake of new e-features
  • Own & Drive continuous Operation improvement initiative to satisfy customers and ensure we do things better and smarter
  • Efficiently handle the work assigned while ensuring high operational efficiency.
  • Provide effective solutions to cargo movement, logistics decision making with high professional industry expertise
  • Primary contact focal to customer & Maersk operations team for all operational queries/issues & exceptions handling.
We are looking for
  • Strong Logistics operational background with commercial mindset
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Logistics Supply Chain/ Cargo management / Cargo planning / Logistic Operation
  • End to End knowledge of Logistics /Supply Chain Operational flows
  • Positive attitude and proactive collaboration
  • Results driven
  • Good communication skills (vertically and horizontally with both internal and external stakeholders)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Self-starter
  • Good knowledge of Logistics systems/process flow (i.e. MODS, SAP, operational systems - preferred)
  • Degree in a relevant field (not a must)
