Guest Service Officer - Reservations - Grand Hyatt Dubai

Job Summary:

You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the reservations department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.

The GSO - Reservations is responsible to assist the Director of Reservations in managing the Reservations Department and work closely with Hyatt Marketing and Sales and other relevant Rooms Departments to maximise Room Yield through Inventory Control while delivering exceptional customer service in line with the Hyatt’s Brand Standards.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management
  • Minimum 2 years work experience as Reservations Agent or Assistant in either Reservation or Front Office in larger operation./li>
  • Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must./li>
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills showing care and the ability to connect and care for our guests
  • International experience in luxury hotel brands demonstrating adaptability to a range of cultures and environments
  • Desire to constantly learn and ambition to grow
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent English
