RESTAURANT SPECIALIST - Central London, UK

Ensure Corporate and Private Members have access to the London's most exclusive/requested restaurant partners. Also to be able to negotiate commissions and benefits, provide expert advice about the industry to Lifestyle Managers, and communicate our latest offerings across the servicing teams.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
-Develop, build and maintain relationships with London's (and other key UK destinations) most exclusive/requested restaurants and partners. Building trust and sound personal working relationships in order to achieve a higher success rate on reservations and other bookings.
-To show good knowledge and understanding of the industry to Members offering personalised, appropriate suggestions for each request.
-Improving revenue generation from group requests by driving bookings to preferred partners.
-Database management (Salesforce).
-Creative writing- content for newsletter, hotlist, insider and guides.
-Understand the Quintessentially Member and only select the appropriate restaurants and partners to work with that meet with our company ethos.
-Driving business towards our chosen partners.
-Complaint handling.
-Creating initiatives to increase uptake of benefits and events through proactivity.
-Present at weekly team servicing meetings to communicate new restaurants, benefits and partnerships.
-Overseeing communications including social media management, two monthly newsletters, seasonal offerings (such as Valentine's, Christmas etc.) the website and mobile app.
-Offer assistance with restaurant reviews, newsletter articles and features for the online magazine where possible.
-Offer assistance, where possible with Sales Force reporting, delivering monthly statistics on restaurants booked by Quintessentially to Managers.
-To be able to offer assistance and show flexibility during out of hours office times, be that for assistance on requests or attending member and supplier events.
-Fully brief Members before they head out so they have peace on mind on the recommendations made.
-Ensure Quintessentially have access to venues and where possible create added value benefits to enhance the Member practise.
-Keep up to date with what's hot and what's not, depending on location, current events and time of day.
-Get access to private events, pop-ups, restaurant soft openings and launch parties.
-Were possible create familiarisation visits for employees to visit and sample the restaurants that we partner with.
-Handle as many requests as possible for the Lifestyle Managers, responding to Members in a timely fashion.
-Contracting new suppliers to negotiate benefits for the Members.
-Log all commissions clearly and pass to accounts on a monthly basis.
-Act as support to the Lifestyle team in order for them to complete their own requests by giving them as much information as possible.
-Keeping account managers up to date with all restaurant and partnership news and events to pass on to their Members.
-Work with editorial to offer up to date exciting pieces of news to be included in Quintessentially publications.
-Be of assistance and answer questions for any of our international offices and UK International team.
-Assist where possible with the development and operation of any dining related Member events.
-Keep constant communication with line managers.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Excellent written & oral communication - fluent English a MUST. Other languages advantageous.
-Passionate about customer service & delivering service excellence.
-Passionate and knowledgeable about the restaurant industry.
-Excellent client empathy.
-Fast learner – adapting to new processes in rapidly changing climate.
-Creative problem solving & top notch organisational skills with attention to detail.
-Confident, with the ability to prioritise, delegate and meet deadlines working under pressure.
-Proactive & reactive simultaneously - know the client base and anticipate their needs, show initiative.
-Ability to remain calm & courteous under pressure, and effective conflict management.
-Outstanding project management skills – effectively manage requests from initiation to completion.
-Self-starter & own manager – work autonomously.
-Strong IT & CRM systems skills (Salesforce, Microsoft Office etc).
-Good team player – displays compassion towards fellow colleagues.
-Excellent interpersonal skills – outstanding telephone manner.
-Mature approach, dedicated and committed with a strong drive, independent.
-Reliability - excellent time keeping is crucial to this role.
-Polished appearance.
-Skilled in dealing with confidential information using discretion and sensitivity at all times.
