Sponsorship And Events Coordinator - The Emirates Group

About role:

The job holder will be responsible for the administration for the full cycle support for events from planning to execution and delivery. In addition to the above, the jobholder will build and foster relationships with existing and potential sponsors under direction of Sponsorship and Events Manager.

Job Outline:
  • Manage the GMS Guest Management System to ensure the effective utilization of the system and to provide support to the Sponsorships & Events teams.
  • Provide administrational support to the Sponsorship and Events teams (e.g. recording of attendance, completion of ITSR forms, iPROC forms).
  • Support the team in various administrative tasks such as the regular clearing of the inbox, sending out News and Monitor Issues every morning, setting out of office notifications for the mail box and compilation of the PR coverage report for wider distribution
  • Monitor the daily schedule of the Departmental Head/Manager and furnish required information/documentation for meetings/appointments, by co-ordinating with sources within and outside the Department.
  • Provide secretarial services to the Departmental Head/Manager by attending to routine administrative paper work.
  • Screen incoming mails and telephone calls, action responses, re-direct correspondence and collate to the appropriate person obtaining additional information where necessary.
  • Be fully conversant with the activities of the organisation in order to liaise effectively with senior executives and external contacts on behalf of the Departmental Head/Manager etc. correspondence and collate to the appropriate person obtaining additional information where necessary.
Qualifications & Experience

General administration

Education: 12 Years schooling or equivalent: 4 years experience in an administrative function Experience in events/sponsorship role

Knowledge / skills: Must be fully competent in MS Office applications.

Fluency in spoken and written English, pleasant telephone etiquettes and the ability to prioritise work.
