IS OUR ACTUARIAL GRADUATE PATHWAY FOR YOU?

If you have instinctual problem-solving skills, enjoy the idea of helping make a real difference to our customers’ lives when they most need help, and want a career that’s diverse, rewarding and challenging, then becoming an actuary could be for you.

As you might expect our actuarial team members are passionate about numbers and have strong analytical skills. They’re also deeply inquisitive, strategic thinkers who are focused on what our customers really need. They can spot the big issues in the finer details and are great at explaining complexity in a simple way. This makes them great collaborators and trusted advisors. If this excites you then our actuarial graduate pathway will help you develop your craft, and will also support you as you achieve your professional actuarial qualification.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN ON THE ACTUARIAL GRADUATE PATHWAY

This graduate pathway is designed to support your learning, every step of the way. Over that time, you’ll learn about the breadth and scale of our business, and what being an actuary has to offer.

On the graduate pathway you’ll:

  • Be able to ask your colleagues a lot of questions and learn on the job, every day; and

As actuaries need to sit a series of exams, you’ll have access to our study package that covers the cost of materials and exam fees, plus a generous study day allowance. Best of all, you’ll be part of collaborative teams that will give you the rewarding career you’re looking for, as well as the understanding and support you need during your IFoA exams.

All this so that by the time you qualify, you’ll be an experienced, confident and professional actuary.
