Junior Buyer Executive - CHANEL boutique, Dubai

Job description:

Reporting to the CFO Middle-East & India, you will implement and lead the indirect procurement function in the market by working closely with the Indirect procurement European Team.

Main responsibilities will be to:
  • Build and develop the procurement process
  • You will collect and analyse all the suppliers data during the detailed phase
  • You will elaborate and execute the procurement process (procedures, workflow & policies ) & the roadmap
Purchasing project management
  • You will assist the Business teams in their supplier choices through tenders (specifications draftings, rating grids, offers analysis, negotiations) and with the Legal Department for the contractualisation.
  • You will work mainly on the following categories: facilities management, travel management, events & catering, boutique expenses, permanent merchandising as well as Marketing, local transport & Logistics.
Purchasing expenses control
  • You will analyse the expenditure of your suppliers using accounting tools.
  • You will be responsible for the supplier sourcing compliance of your projects on the financial, legal and CSR dimensions;
  • You will follow up on these suppliers via activity reports, in order to monitor their performance.
  • You will contribute to CSR ambitions and support global and local initiatives through your Purchasing projects

You hold a master’s degree in Business management. You have at least 1 year purchasing experience. Highly organised, you are proactive and solution-oriented. You have the ability to work in a matrix organisation and a multicultural environment.

Your interpersonal and communication skills combined with your rigour will be real assets to succeed in this position.

Fluency in English is a must.
Position based in Dubai.
